BIP 2007
BIP 2007 will happen during Elettrowave, the electronic side of Italiawave, the biggest free music festival in Italy. Here are the first images of the new location, an abandoned factory (Ex Longinotti), that is actually used as the warehouse of Teatro Stabile di Firenze (yes, you can find a lot of weird stuff inside..). Don't worry, it'll be emptied in a short time. Images 2 to 23 show the venue that will be "Elettrowave Theatre"; it is a unique space 130x37mt wide, with ceilling ca. 12mt high, virtually divided in 2 by a long row of white steel columns. Stage for live music sets will opposite to the entrance, while BIP's installations main area will grow around the first 6 columns, close to the entrance of the factory. Last 3 images shows the second venue, "The Club", which is a bit smaller (80x12m - 10m high); here again, stage will be placed at the end of the room, opposite to the entrance. www.todo.to.it/bip2007
